MEL Physics – ages 8–14+

Science lessons are aligned with the following NGSS: PS2.B (K-PS2-1), (K-PS2-2); PS1.A (2-PS1-1), (2-PS1-2); PS4.B; (1-PS4-1): (1-PS4-2); (1-PS4-3); (1-PS4-4) and more.

Here are some of the topics:

• Develop a model that predicts and describes changes in particle motion, temperature, and state of a pure substance when thermal energy is added or removed.
• Use tools and materials to design and build a device that uses light or sound to solve the problem of communicating over a distance.
• Apply scientific ideas to design, test, and refine a device that converts energy from one form to another.

The very first shipment contains a home lab with all the necessary equipment. A flask, a solid fuel stove, safety glasses, beakers, and more – everything you’ll need to perform the experiments from the monthly sets.

MEL STEM – ages 5–9+

STEM projects accompanied by an augmented reality mobile app. VR headset not included.

Every set is self-contained and has all the equipment required to complete the project inside. Learn how science is used in everyday devices and create functional models to observe them in action!
